Healing Flowers

Hollyhocks, Iris, and Bleeding Hearts in Porter Hospital

Being in the hospital is not much fun for anyone, patient and visitor alike, especially when you’re there for something as serious as cancer. But beautiful, elegant surroundings can go a long way to making the stay a little more bearable.

That’s why I’m happy and privileged to have three of my embellished flower pieces gracing the walls of Porter Adventist Hospital’s oncology unit. I hope they will help brighten someone’s day a little and bring a bit of fresh air into a difficult time.

Many thanks to Jennifer Perlow at PS Art Consulting for this opportunity!
